Seekh Kebab

This is an amazing Seekh kebab and one of my favourite starters when I dine out. The flavours are out of this world and the meat falls apart in your mouth. You don’t even need to chew it as it is so tender. When I dine out in a new restaurant I always try the Seekh kebab to see if it is to my liking, this way I will know if I will like the rest of my food or not, as not every restaurant knows how to make it very tasty.

You all know by now how much I love my curry and the heat of it too. I think we all have our favourite restaurant and the dish we prefer. There are many kinds of Seekh kebab (or Sheikh kebab) and they are all delicious. The traditional meat used for kebab is lamb, but this also depends on local taste and some even use goat meat, so it’s really each to their own.

I prefer my Seekh kebab made with beef because I think it tastes better, but, like I said, it is really up to your personal taste, I think you should try both and see for yourself. I have not added any food colouring, unlike some recipes, because there is no need. All I’m after is the flavour and the taste.

Let’s see how it’s made:
