is a lovely dish that you must try if you like olives. Tasty, creamy and sticky with a glossy sauce. The flavours are like Tsunami in your mouth. (Don’t forget, you are only allowed two drum sticks, not all is for you!) Although, I must say I can soak up a whole baguette in this sauce, it is just so tasty.
You don’t need lots of ingredients to make this dish, it’s so easy and the result is amazing. I had to cut the salt as there is no need to add it because you use lemons and olives. Some people boil the olives to get rid of the salt, but do you know what – I don’t – as I think the olives add a beautiful flavour to the dish without boiling to remove the salt.
This dish is from north Africa where I learned how to make it from when I was a little girl. I have loved cooking since I was at a young age, and I still do. Only now my children have left the nest – cry, cry, cry! I started to blog, and one day, I hope, my daughter and my son will make all my recipes.
I think, deep down, I am doing this for them to enjoy, it’s called love for your children, and I do love them very much.
