Egg Fried Rice with Peas

so easy to rustle up. It’s no secret I frequently like to whip up a quick and easy dish when I am in a hurry. I have to admit that since I came back from Bali all my taste buds have changed to this kind of food.

I have to say that I am not familiar with this cuisine but I will give it my best shot, as I love Indonesian food and I was very lucky to enjoy a very good cooking experience whilst I was visiting Bali.

A side dish like this it can be adapted to whatever your taste buds like. I also like to challenge my self, to find new ways to end up with exciting flavours. How do I know? Well I have changed many of my own recipes and trust me, it does work. Sometime we have to have new imagination and just go with the flow. I am still learning lots about Indonesian food, so far I am loving all the recipes I was taught by Tomi the house keeper from Bali, who I truly miss very much.

Instructions
  1. On a high heat add the oil to a wok until is smokey then add the garlic, then the onion, then chillies.
  2. Add the rice and both soy sauces, then stir fry for about 2 mins. Then add the whisked egg on the side of the wok and slowly fold in the egg.
  3. Keep tossing for about 1 min then turn the heat off.
  4. Serve in a bowl, decorate with spring onion then add the cashew nuts

You can add shrimps to this if you with.
