Lemon Chilli Chicken

Tasty, spicy, and delicious. I usually make Lemon Chilli Chicken when I am in a hurry for quick-lunch or when my friend turns up unexpectedly, and I often make a quick salad to go with it like Peppers and Watercress Salad 

I also make this dish for my husband to take to work in a lunch box . The whole family loves this recipe, and sometimes I make it using turkey, again nice and healthy and low in fat. It is possible to eat tasty food without guilt, and I am sure this recipe will be enjoyed by all.

Instructions
  1. In a food processor grind all the ingredients other than the chicken to a smooth paste.
  2. Add the marinade to the chicken and leave in the fridge for an hour.
  3. In a non-stick skillet, heat the oil on a medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for about 10 minutes or until you can see it is cooked.
  4. Drizzle with lemon then serve with salad.
Recipe Notes

You can use olive oil or ghee if you wish, but I must say I don't use any when I am on a diet.
